Assistant Manager – Harpoon Beer Hall | Boston, MA

Harpoon Beer Hall in Boston’s Seaport is looking for a driven and energetic Assistant Manager to help lead day-to-day operations at our flagship location. As a key member of our leadership team, you’ll play a hands-on role in delivering exceptional hospitality, supporting staff, and helping shape a dynamic guest experience that reflects the energy of our brand and our people.

What You’ll Do

• Lead daily service operations with energy, visibility, and a strong guest-first mindset

• Coach and support FOH staff in real time to ensure exceptional hospitality and team accountability

• Write and manage weekly FOH schedules, monitor labor performance, and assist with payroll

• Support planning and execution of events and on-site programming in collaboration with other departments

• Handle guest feedback with professionalism and lead by example in delivering memorable experiences

• Assist with admin duties, inventory, internal communications, and cross-team coordination

• Participate in leadership meetings and help drive operational and cultural goals forward

What You Bring

• 2–3+ years of hospitality management experience in a high-volume or multi-concept setting

• Strong leadership presence and the ability to stay composed under pressure

• Great communication and problem-solving skills

• Experience with scheduling platforms like Sling and POS systems like Toast

• Attention to detail, strong organizational habits, and time management chops

• A collaborative spirit and a love for great beer, great people, and great service

• Availability for evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak hours as needed
